Some people leave without leaving. They are simply gone one day.
A personal short film set in Mumbai. Rooted in a childhood memory: a quiet bond, an ordinary classroom, and an absence that arrived without explanation.
No AI-generated imagery. No artificial polish. Handheld camera, natural light, real locations, real child actors. A small, honest human feeling, treated with seriousness and care.
His first time directing children. On purpose.
Backed by Emergent Ventures, the fellowship at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University founded by economist Tyler Cowen. Awarded for original, independent filmmaking. Funded entirely from outside the film industry.
